- pompeii, directed by Paul W S Anderson, is an epic disaster movie,
starring Kit Harington, Emily Browning, Jessica Lucas, and Jared Harris
in the lead roles. The movie is set in the historical time when the city
of Pompeii came under threat to be swiped off in a massive volcanic
eruption. The eruption is going to take away every single life that
stays in Pompeii, including the love of Cassia and Milo.Milo has
been a slave turned gladiator and Cassia has been the daughter of a rich
man. But as the love between rich and poor has always suffered misery,
this love relationship is welcomed no differently. Milo has a battle to
fight, while Cassia has to set herself free from Corvus, the Roman
Senator, who is determined to make her his wife. While this couple has
to make way for themselves in this time of multiple hurdles falling in
place, the volcano is boiling to burst anytime.
While the
civilisation living around has to save their lives and run off, it's not
easy for Cassia and Milo to run away. They have villains to stop them
and separate Cassia from Milo. How the power of love makes one fight
with unbelievable power makes this movie a romantic-disaster. Would this
couple be able to save their own lives or be burnt to ashes with their
love story is what makes the rest of the movie.
Pompeii was released in Hindi by PVR in 2014 in DVD format, with a U/A rating. The movie has a run time of 104 minutes.
